These are the only worms I will touch!

Ok, so I can't find my digital camera, but I am going to try and upload a picture of one of my cards from my Facebook account. It is a card I made a little while ago for Craig. I saw the stamp and knew I just had to get it! Plus it's great for masculine cards.

The Cardstock is PTI as well as the patterned paper. Stamps are DRS Designs, and I used a lot of different Copic colors. This was a lot of fun to color and I really like the way it came out. Let me know what you think!. Oh the paper behind the sentiment is Memory Box Co. I have been stamping quite a bit and will add more pics later of what I have done.

Today I am working on Christmas gifts, I love working with paper and making something personal and not store bought!

Sympathy Card

I have never had to make a Sympathy Card since I started stamping maybe a little over a year ago. Unfortunately I have a friend who's mother died. I tried something new-watercolor paper. I have to say it was kind of fun and interesting to try this. I have always liked the look so I thought I would give it a try! So here it is.

Stamps: PTI Vintage Picnic, Guidlines II

Paper: PTI Sweet Blush, Bitty Boxes Dark Chocolate and Summer Sunrise

Card 2 for Mom and Dad

Well, I am trying to send at least one card to my mom and dad a month. This card uses the stamp set from Papertray Ink, Life. I loved what I saw the designers do with this set, but I just can't seem to "work it" like they do. So here is what I came up with.

All in all I kinda like the card....not one of my all time favorites, but at least I got in there and worked with this set. Trying to use it more and more.

Details:

Stamps: Life from Papertrey Ink, Sentiment Stamp Inkadoodle
Paper: PTI
Ink: Frayed Burlap-Distress Ink, New Leaf-PTI, SU-Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie

Snail Mail

Here is a card that I sent to my mom and dad. Granted it is a more girly card but I like it just the same. I used Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic and colored it with Copic markers. Sure wish someone in my area would teach a class using these!!! I also used the Polka Dot basics stamped in New Leaf. I seem to be famous for making cards but not sending them. Trying to get out of that habit. LOL

Details:
Stamps - PTI Vintage Picnic, Polka Dot Basics, Text Style
Ink: PTI New Leaf, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Paper: PTI-Blush, Pattern Paper is K&Company
Misc: A little bit of ric rac I had laying around and then I smooshed some glitter around it as well for a little added pizzaz! Spellbinders Circles

Superbowl

I am not into football, but a friend of mine down the street invited us over for a Superbowl party. I am not one to refuse a party! We took over our Rock Band II game and it seemed to be a big hit. It was an enjoyable night. Craig went with us and seemed to have a good time. But maybe that was the wine! LOL

It was nice to get together with friends and just relax, eat and have a good time. I think Craig got to see a little bit of Amy's funny side they were cracking jokes all night long. I thought I would share a few photos of our evening.
I went to the women's retreat this past year and these were some of the women that I was with during our small group time. Left to right, Angela, Mary and Amy. We have decided to try and get together once a month to pray for each other.

Everyone wants to be a rockstar! Sarah likes to play the drums, I think she likes to be like her daddy!
Here is Amy P and her daughter Maleah. Amy came in and saw Rock Band and was dying to play, I think she played the most! When we left she was still playing!
As we were leaving I snapped this photo. Our church has a bread ministry that the Winter's are a part of. On Sunday evenings they go to Panera bread and get whatever leftover bread there is, they separate it into various bags and a then some other people from our church come over pick up the bread and deliver it to various ministries through out the county. This thing has grown like you wouldn't believe. It does sadden me that there is such a need for it, but makes my heart glad that there are people who will take time out to help to distribute this bread which would otherwise be thrown out. Here is Angela, Steve, Mary and Amy's friend Louis helping to bag it up and separate it out. I feel very fortunate to have friends like this!

Christmas gift

I belong to a small group of women called The Best Group Ever!! For Christmas we decided to to a secret Santa, the only catch was we were to make something for our present, not BUY. So I decided to make this stationary holder for mine. I knew she loves cats so I purchased some clear stamps from ______________. They are really cute. I only had time to make 3 cards, but I loved how this came out.

I love this stamp company, they have so many stamp sets that I want. I find myself going there and putting so much in my cart, but no actually getting it, because money is tight right now. Anyway, Wendy loved her gift.
The stamps I used for this were Inkadoodle called Cattitude. I embossed the main image on the cover of the template. CS is PTI, PP is from Basic Gray and I used some of Tim Holtz's ink and blending tool to highlight the images.
Let me know what you think!

Birthday Card

We went over to a friends house and it was his girlfriends birthday on Tuesday. I had been trying to make some cards to have on hand for when particular situations happened, I would have something on hand. Well thank goodness I had already started the card, because I needed one.

It is more vibrant in real life. I used the swiss dot, cuttlebug folder, and the circle and scallop Nestabilities, if you want info on the stamps and Copic colors that I used, just let me know! Hope you enjoy!
